The harbour and the city
20 minCircular Quay, the Botanic Gardens and the ferries. Take the new Metro in and leave the car in the garage.
A very quiet residential street, and still roughly twenty minutes from the water in three different directions — with the new Metro running into the city in about the same time.

Calm bay water, a long promenade and a row of Greek restaurants. The easy one with small kids.

Stadiums, the aquatic centre and acres of parkland. If you’re here for a concert or a game, this is the closest comfortable bed to it.

Wattamolla’s lagoon and beach, the coast track and the waterfalls. A whole day out without leaving the city’s edge.

Coles, ALDI, a food hall and a fish counter. Buy prawns, walk home, eat them by the pool.

Close enough for an early flight, far enough never to hear one. Fifteen minutes door to terminal.
Drive times are approximate and depend on traffic.
“The pool was amazing. We really liked the quiet neighbourhood, yet it wasn’t far from shopping centres etc.”

The house is in Roselands, about 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD. The exact address and the access details come through once your booking is confirmed.
The new Metro station at Punchbowl is close by, and the Metro runs into the Sydney CBD in about twenty minutes, with trains every few minutes and no changes. The bus stop is five minutes on foot if you’d rather not walk to the station.
The airport is about fifteen minutes by road, and the M5 is close by if you’re driving: there’s a garage for two cars and plenty of unrestricted street parking out the front.
Bennett Park and the Lantern Club are both a short walk, as are Coles and ALDI — so a car isn’t needed for the everyday things. The street is residential and off the main road, so it stays quiet at night.
The pool is open all year. Sydney decides how much you use it.
Hot, humid, and the whole point of the pool. School holidays and New Year book out first, so ask early.
Sydney at its best. Warm water into April, mild evenings on the terrace, fewer people everywhere.
Cool and bright. Not pool weather, but the quietest time of year and an easy base for work or family visits.
Jacarandas, long afternoons, and the water warming up again from about November.
